James Lashly is a former board member and past Co-Artistic Director of Theater 150 of Ojai, California. He’s a member of the band twice voted Ojai’s best, The Household Gods. He has been working as an actor, musician, director, and writer for more than 40 years on stage, television, and in film since completing his education at the Goodman School of Drama in Chicago and cutting his theatrical teeth as a founding member of Chicago’s Free Street Theater. Most recent appearances as an actor include work on stage at the Ojai Playwrights Conference and in Inspecting Carol at Theater 150; in the films White Oleander, directed by Peter Kosminsky, and Domestic Disturbance, directed by Harold Becker; and on television in Bones, Gilmore Girls, and The West Wing.
