Dwier Brown

Dwier Brown has acted in The Guardian, Red Dragon, To Live and Die in L.A., Gettysburg, The Cutting Edge, Mom and Dad Save the World, and many other films. In addition to episodes of many classic television shows such as E.R., Without a Trace, Criminal Minds, The Practice, Charmed, and Ally McBeal, Dwier has appeared in The Thornbirds, Rip Girls, Without Warning, and Desperado. On stage, he starred in the Mark Taper Forum’s workshop of Angels in America, and created the role of Hermes in The Whole Banana. He is a co-founding member of the Alliance Repertory Company, the Ojai Playwright’s Conference, and Theater 150. He is perhaps best known for playing Kevin Costner’s father in Field of Dreams. Most recently, Dwier has appeared in the films Fast Girl, The Intervention, and, on television, in The Unit.
