Marti Gendel is a 4th-year undergraduate student at the University of Chicago studying Biological Sciences with a specialization in Genetics. Within the field of genetics, she is particularly interested in genomics and its applications in cancer biology. With her research at STAGE, she aims to education, intrigue and generate curiosity in a diverse audience by making the scientific content interesting and accessible and the researchers behind the work relatable.
