Denise Fischer, a 3rd-year biology major from the suburbs of Chicago, is thoroughly interested in science communication and game design. They have immersed themself in a broad range of projects, from computational genetics and neuroscience research with Zhang Lab to independent apps. They are a proponent of rapidly rigging prototypes and play testing even during the early stages of the design process, and therefore have a passing knowledge of many game engines and programming languages-but perhaps more importantly of Google and StackOverflow.
